Interview Intelligence was born out of frustration, hundreds of rejected applications, and one simple realization: preparation is the only thing you can control.
Hi, I'm Alex. I'm a university student, and like many of you, I had big ambitions when it came to landing my first job in finance. I'd done everything "right." Top grades, a sector specific internship in investment banking at a local boutique, strong extracurriculars. On paper, I thought I had a real shot.
Then I started applying. I sent out hundreds of applications. Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Lazard, Evercore, McKinsey. Sometimes applying the same day a position was posted. Every cover letter tailored. Every deadline met.
Not a single offer.
It wasn't my resume. It wasn't my grades. The rejection emails always came at the same stage: after the HireVue. That automated, AI evaluated video interview that most top firms now use as their primary screening tool.
I was being filtered out before a single human being ever saw my application. The algorithm decided I wasn't good enough, and I had no idea why. No feedback. No second chances. Just a polite rejection email a few weeks later.
The job market is brutal. Thousands of talented candidates compete for the same positions. When the difference between moving forward and being filtered out comes down to a two minute video analyzed by AI, you need more than just "being prepared." You need to train specifically for that format.
So I built it. Interview Intelligence started as a personal project, an AI model that mimics how real video interviews are evaluated. I trained it to score responses the way real screening algorithms are known to work: content quality, communication clarity, structure, and presence.
I practiced. Over and over. I watched my scores improve. I learned how to structure my answers, what keywords mattered, how to pace myself. For the first time, I had real feedback on something that had always felt like a black box.
Then I realized: if I needed this, others did too.
Interview Intelligence grew into a complete preparation platform. Beyond AI mock interviews, we added hundreds of sector specific questions inspired by the types of questions asked at Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Google, and 100+ other top firms. We included aptitude tests that mirror the ones used by major recruiters, because getting past the screening round is only the beginning.
Right now, we're also working on an automated resume check, so you can make sure your CV survives the initial screening before it even reaches the video interview stage.
